Understanding the complexities of the law, and the rights, relations, and conduct of persons and organizations is at the heart of why the Price Legal Group was established. Many times, the law makes things difficult to understand, and it is the relationship with our clients and the understanding of those complexities that is at the root of why we started the firm.
The Price Legal Group was founded because there were many family, friends and clients who were overwhelmed by the legal system, especially in tough and scary times, like the loss of a loved one. Many times, it is at those times that people do not need a lawyer, but someone to counsel them as to the next phase or transition in life. We realized that many young and old families sometimes are not prepared for those transitions in life and are without the basic necessary legal documents to ensure that their loved ones are taken care of in the event something happens to them.
We started Price Legal Group Law with the goal to make that process easier and more simple for families to confidently and competently provide for their loved ones in the event of disability or death.
We work closely with our clients to carefully determine the best and most cost-efficient plan to effectuate your desired outcome. We also try to handle your legal issues in a timely manner.

Douglas L. Price
Douglas L. Price is an attorney and probate administration specialist based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with a remarkable 33 years of experience in providing exceptional legal services. Over the span of his extensive career, Mr. Price has passionately assisted numerous families in navigating the complexities of elder law, probate administration, and estate planning.
Mr. Price's areas of expertise cover a wide range, including Elder Law, Probate Administration, Estate Planning, Trusts, Wills, Long-Term Care Planning, and Medicaid Planning. He is well-versed in guiding clients through the rigors of Health Care Directives, Power of Attorney procedures, and dealings with the Probate Court. His commitment is to protect his clients' assets and ensuring the proper execution of estates.
Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Mr. Price started his career with a general practice law firm where he learned aspects of all types of law including business, criminal, family, bankruptcy, wills and estates and litigation. While Mr. Price concentrated on litigation, he quickly became the firm member responsible for estate administration and probate.
Mr. Price is a member of the Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Ohio, and California (inactive) Bar Associations, as well as the United states District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania, and Northern District of West Virginia. In addition to legal work, Mr. Price is a lector at Saint Simon and Jude Parish in Green Tree, and volunteers at several organizations including the Boy Scouts of America, the Humane Animal Rescue League of Pittsburgh, and the Upwards Basketball association.
